Washer won't spin for spin cycle.

I recently had my (1998) Whirlpool Gold washing machine stop spinning when it would reach the spin cycle. Knowing that I could probably fix the problem if I knew what $3.00 part to buy, I would have gladly gone and purchased it and saved a $100 bucks. However, sometimes just paying attention to what the fix it repair man is doing can save you time on knowing what to and what not to take apart. It turned out that the coupler was bad on my washer and it just needed replacing. I made pictures and notes on how to replace it if your washer ever runs into this problem. The coupler is (2) plastic pieces with a hard rubber piece joined between them that connects them together. The motor turns these couplers which in turn, spins the washer for the spin cycle. I hope this can help you out. Good Luck in all your fix it endeavors.

You copied our copyrighted picture of the coupler and also our description from an eBay listing. Not cool. It would have been nice if you gave us some sort of credit for the picture, description, and for offering it for sale at the lowest price on the internet. THAT would have been cool.
